What Researchy keeps, and where

Researchy is in preview. This note describes what the site does today. It is a draft and will be replaced by a full privacy policy before accounts and payments go live.

On your device

In this preview, the studies you post, your karma, the studies you complete, your poll answers and your currency choice are kept in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to Researchy, and other visitors cannot see them. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Accounts

Preview accounts are also kept only in your browser, and passwords are not checked. When sign-in goes live it will use Supabase, a hosted sign-in and database service; this note will then say what is stored, where, and for how long.

Surveys you take

Each study is run by its researcher on their own survey tool (for example Google Forms). Your answers go to that researcher under their tool's terms, not to Researchy. Read the study's own information before you take part.

Sharing

Share buttons open WhatsApp, LinkedIn or your email app with a prepared message. Researchy does not post anything for you.

Cookies and tracking

Researchy sets no advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts.
