For faculty and class representatives
Bring your class into research
Faculty and class representatives who help a class of 50 or more take part in studies will be able to earn karma for their own research and a record of the class's contribution.
The faculty programme is opening soon. Tell us about your class and we will be in touch when it opens.
Questions
Good to know
How is a completed response checked?
Each study's form ends with a short completion code. To earn karma you enter that code here, and only after spending a reasonable time on the study (at least a quarter of its stated length). It is a light check, not proof: please answer honestly.
How do I add a completion code to my Google Form?
In Google Forms, open Settings, then Presentation, and edit the confirmation message, for example "Thank you. Your Researchy code is RSY-ABCDE-2026." Use the code Researchy shows you after you post your study.
What is karma, and what can I do with it?
Karma is the points you earn by completing other researchers' studies (usually 2 per study) and 5 when you create an account. 99 karma claims a Spotlight for one of your studies. Karma has no cash value.
Is Researchy free?
Yes. Posting studies and answering them is free. The paid Spotlight and Scholar Club will open later; until then a Spotlight can be claimed with karma.
Where are my studies and karma kept?
In this preview, studies, karma and completions are kept in your own browser, so other visitors don't see studies you post yet. See the privacy note.
In Researchy's database, run on Supabase in Mumbai, India. Everyone sees the studies you post. Your karma, completions, poll answers and the completion codes of your studies are visible only to you. See the privacy note.
